Enjoy Free Lunchtime Streets This Summer!

The City of London Corporation will be delivering its Lunchtime Streets events this year, in partnership with the Cheapside Business Alliance and the Fleet Street Quarter Partnership.

Lunchtime Streets will be held weekly on Wednesdays in Cheapside and Thursdays in Carter Lane, from 12pm-2pm, from 4th August through to 30th September 2021.
Free on-street walking and cycling activities will be on offer including cycle security marking, Dr Bike sessions, and led walks and live music.

We hope that these activities will encourage people to visit and enjoy spending time in the Cheapside and Carter Lane areas, and support the local businesses trading there.

The aim of the Lunchtime Streets events is to celebrate the re-opening of hospitality following lockdown and with different themes each week encourage the public to come back and enjoy week after week.

Dates and locations:
Cheapside - 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th August, 1st, 8th,15th, 22nd & 29th September
Carter Lane - 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th August, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th September

Time:
All Lunchtime Streets events are from 12noon-2pm.
Dr Bike will be on site from 8am-4pm during the cycle themed dates (11th & 25th August, 8th & 22nd September in Cheapside; & 12th & 26th August, 9th & 23rd September in Carter Lane).
