On Wednesday 26 September, The City of London Corporation is collaborating with UK Active to host a day-long programme of free activities in Guildhall Yard, to mark National Fitness Day. These fantastic activities are open to both City workers and residents.
Get your day off to a flying start by joining Dame Darcey Bussell in the centre of London for a Morning Workout – helping kick off National Fitness Day in style!
Join the Strictly Come Dancing Judge for a FREE group exercise class, as she leads you through one of her DDMIX dance fitness workout routines.
You will then be able to enjoy one (or more!) of our three 30-minute Yoga sessions to exercise the mind and the body, setting you up for the day ahead. Led by instructors from leisure provider Everyone Active in one of London’s iconic locations – Guildhall Courtyard in the heart of the Square Mile supported by the City of London Corporation.
Energize your lunch hour with your choice of two 30 minute workouts from les Mills. Try out your martial art skills during BODYCOMBAT or jump into our sports inspired cardio workout, BODYATTACK.
Morning Timetable:
07:30 - 08:00: DDMIX Dance Workout with Darcey Bussell
08:00 - 08:30: Yoga session #1 with Everyone Active
08:30 - 09:00: Yoga session #2 with Everyone Active
09:00 – 09:30 Yoga session #3 with Everyone Active

12:30 - 13:00: Les Mills BODYCOMBAT

National Fitness Day is about celebrating the fun of fitness, physical activity and movement, so bring along your friends, family and work colleagues and help us kick off this year’s day in style!
You’ll be joined by a host of sporting stars from Everyone Active’s Sporting Champions programme, including Team GB’s Olympic Gold Medallists, Alex Danson and Max Whitlock alongside one of athletics great’s, Colin Jackson.
