THINK! has launched a new campaign

Following the changes to the Highway Code in January the Department for Transport has launched a new campaign to reduce road danger.

The new THINK! campaign has two approaches. The first a factual, awareness raising campaign, aiming to alert road users to the changes of the Highway Code.
Followed by a behaviour change ‘Travel like you know them’ campaign to help embed the changes and encourage understanding of the new guidance.
The campaign aims to improve road safety for the most vulnerable road users - people walking, cycling and riding motorcycles. Encouraging all road users to ‘Travel like you know them’.
The new Highway Code guidance includes information on giving way to pedestrians waiting to cross at junctions, cycling in the centre of the lane, passing distances and the Dutch reach.
The campaign encourages you to step into the lives of everyday road users and change your behaviour to help keep everyone safe on our streets and roads.
