Walking is easy, free, and one of the easiest ways to become healthier.
Sometimes overlooked as a form of exercise, walking can help you build stamina, burn excess calories and make your heart healthier.
And did you know you don't have to walk for hours? A brisk 10-minute daily walk has lots of health benefits and counts towards your recommended 150 minutes of weekly exercise. If you work in the City, it is easier to get those steps in as the City of London Corporation offers a number of guided and self guided walks for you to enjoy.

The Square Mile is full of hidden gardens and pocket parks, offering plenty of history and heritage.
On the City of London Website you can find a series of self-guided walks from world-famous attractions to hidden gems, the City Visitor Trail suggests a range of routes to help you see the most of the City at your leisure. Pick up a map at the City Information Centre.
There are also trails oon Roman London, Great Fire, modern architecture, Charles Dickens, majestic trees and more.
Many films have been shot in the City of London and this walk will take you to places where movies including Harry Potter and James Bond have filmed.
