City worker access to the COVID-19 vaccine: share your insights
29 April 2021
The City of London Corporation is looking to gather insights from City employers on specific support they, or their workforce, may need to access the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some groups within the workforce are at increased clinical risk from COVID-19 infection, and employers have an important role to play in encouraging workers to get vaccinated when they are invited by the NHS to do so.
Some groups of workers may require additional support to be able to access the vaccine, such as accurate information in alternative languages, or vaccination clinics that suit their working patterns.
Please help the City Corporation to better understand and meet these additional requirements, by sparing a couple of moments to share some insights from your own organisation through a very short survey, which can be accessed here: https://forms.office.com/r/0UPTHZJpiB
The survey will close on Wednesday 12 May.
Boots at 120 Fleet Street is now providing COVID-19 vaccinations through the NHS vaccination programme.
City workers and residents who have not yet been vaccinated will be invited directly by the NHS, or, if they are in an eligible group (50+ years old, or with an underlying health condition that makes them clinically vulnerable to COVID-19), they can book an appointment by visiting www.nhs.uk/covidvaccine/ or calling 119.
Only those with an appointment will be vaccinated.
