Working across multiple sectors and issues, the Active City Network aims to bring businesses, construction and the local community together to discuss challenges and opportunities to develop a safer, more active and sustainable Square Mile.

Through the Active City Network City businesses can share experiences and learn from one another on the successes and challenges of implementing new policies, schemes and projects.

The Network also provides a platform for businesses to showcase best practice and inspire other businesses to do the same. It also connects businesses to technical experts within the City of London Corporation who can assist with the development and implementation of new strategies.

Through the Network you can also gain access to training and other exclusive services to encourage: staff to enjoy a safer, more active journeys to work, run responsible logistic planning and more sustainable transport planning.

Led by the City of London Corporation the Active City Network is chaired by Alderman Alison Gowman and represented by 15 board member businesses. The board represent different industries and they steer the Network towards its mission and a sustainable future.
